In a defensive struggle this weekend, the Denver Broncos managed to secure a close win over the winless New York Jets. Signal-caller Bo Nix threw an early touchdown pass and specialist Wil Lutz provided the late go-ahead field goal to secure the hard-fought win.

Defensive Display Seals Contest

Even with registering nine sacks versus Jets quarterback Justin Fields, the Broncos were behind 11-10 after giving up a safety in the second half. Interestingly, the Jets managed a mere 82 offensive yards throughout the contest.

Nix, who completed 19 of 30 passes for 174 yards, engineered a decisive 12-play, 65-yard possession that culminated in Lutz's 27-yard kick with just over five minutes remaining.

Record Struggles for Jets Attack

In spite of their dismal offensive display, the Jets maintained the ball with a chance to score a possible victory. However Fields was tackled on fourth-and-eight from the Denver 44 after coach Aaron Glenn opted to attempt the conversion instead of sending out specialist Nick Folk for a long kick.

The Jets quarterback struggled all game, connecting on just 9 of 17 passes for 45 yards. The Jets ended up with negative ten passing yards, the lowest in any game since 1998.

"The aerial attack was non-existent," Glenn stated after the contest.

The veteran quarterback threw for 235 yards and two scores, and the Pittsburgh Steelers had little trouble in their decisive win over the Cleveland Browns.

Chargers Rally Past Dolphins

The quarterback evaded the pass rush and found with his receiver for a long reception in the closing seconds, leading to Cameron Dicker's game-winning kick to secure the Los Angeles Chargers a narrow victory.

Patriots Beat Saints

The quarterback passed for 261 yards and three touchdowns as the visiting New England Patriots beat the New Orleans Saints 25-19.
